Richard E. Reno

Richard E. Reno  91, of Sacramento, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 17, 2017 at Ridgewood Terrace Health and Rehabilitation Center in Madisonville.  Richard Edmond Reno was born November 16, 1925 in Sacramento, Kentucky to the late Elijah and May Vanhorn Reno and was married to the former Jeanette Faye Baldwin June 3, 1949.  Richard was a farmer, served as a magistrate for McLean County Fiscal Court, and also served multiple terms as McLean County Circuit Clerk.  He was a member of Sacramento Baptist Church and a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II.  Richard was also a charter member of Sacramento Lions Club, served as District Governor of Lions Club, and a 50 year member of Sacramento Lodge # 735 F. & A.M.

          Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Jenny Reno; a daughter, Julie Reno Gulley and husband, Tom of Hanson; two grandchildren, Logan Gulley and Kristen Brown and husband, Matt; and two great grandchildren, MaKynlee Brown and Mason Brown.

          Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Wendell Wood officiating.  Burial will be in the Station Baptist Cemetery in McLean County.  Friends may visit with Richard’s family from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday and from 9:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Musters in Calhoun.  Masonic services for Richard E. Reno will be held at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at Musters in Calhoun.

          The Richard E. Reno family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Station Baptist Cemetery Fund; C/O Austin Riley; 7633 Kentucky 81 South; Island, Kentucky  42350.  Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Calhoun.
