Ola Bell Edds 86, of Beech Grove, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Wellington Parc in Owensboro. Ola Bell Edds was born March 7, 1932 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Elmer “Bob” and Wilma Mackey Edds and was raised on a five generation family farm in McLean County. Ola Bell attended Owensboro Business College, retired in 1979 from General Electric in Owensboro and was a member of Beech Grove Christian Church. She was a member of the Captain William Rowan Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, was involved with the West Central Research, loved genealogy, and researching old cemeteries in McLean County. Ola Bell was a member of the Beech Grove Homemakers, Director of Mackey Cemetery and also served on the Beech Grove School Reunion Planning Committee for 20 years.
Survivors include cousins, neighbors and friends from her church.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Jim Midkiff officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Baptist Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Ola Bell’s family from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Musters in Calhoun.
