Nadine Riggs Bennett

Nadine Riggs Bennett, of Owensboro, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  Nadine Riggs was born August 12, 1928 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Hugh Haynes and Mae Taylor Riggs and was married to William G. “Bub” Bennett September 14, 1946.  Nadine retired from General Electric in Owensboro and was a member of Calhoun Christian Church.  In addition to her parents, Nadine was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William G. “Bub” Bennett, who died May 28, 2009; by two brothers, Marvin Riggs and Clayton Riggs and by two sisters, Sally Wacker and Alice Harness.

          Survivors include a brother and his wife, Gibson and Lillie Riggs of Calhoun; her twin sister, Lorene Penrod of Calhoun; several nieces and nephews.

          Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Keith Sage officiating.  Burial will be in the New Cypress Cemetery in McLean County.  Friends may visit with Nadine’s family from 11:30 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Musters in Calhoun.
