Minnie Howell Troutman 94, of Island, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at her home in Island. Minnie May Ford was born February 6, 1924 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky to the late William Thomas and Edith Shanks Ford and was married to William Foster Howell until his death October 15, 1972 and was later married to James Finley Troutman. Minnie was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed dancing, reading, cooking, and spending time with both her family and friends. In addition to her parents and first husband, Minnie was preceded in death by her 2nd husband, Jim Troutman; by three sons, Bubby Howell, Pete Howell and Donnie Howell; by 3 grandchildren and a great grandson.
Survivors include four daughters, Wilma Smith (Bubby) of Livermore, Jenny Dunn (Robert) of Elkton, Barbara Gardner (Greg) of Island, and Sherry Wells (Timmy) of Powderly; three sons, Jug Howell (Leann) of Hartford; Tom Howell of Livermore and Bobby Howell of Island; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and three sisters, Lil Mason of Beaver Dam, Jane Page and Ruth Ann Johnson both of Livermore.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Barney Priar officiating. Burial will be in the Island Baptist Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Minnie’s family from 10:30 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Musters in Livermore.
