Mary Jo Gunterman 82, of Calhoun, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 30, 2017 in Owensboro. Mary Jo Rose was born January 17, 1935 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky to the late Enis and Opal Rose and was married to Clarence Darman Gunterman October 15, 1954. Mary Jo was a homemaker and member of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, Mary Jo was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Clarence D. Gunterman who died February 3, 2005.
Survivors include a son and his wife, Jeff and Judith Gunterman of Rumsey; three daughters and their husbands, Vickie and Jimmy Smith, Rhonda and Bruce Miller, and Dana and Dale Eubanks all of Calhoun; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Calhoun Cemetery in McLean County. There will be no public visitation. Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Mary Jo’s family.
The Mary Jo Gunterman family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to The Heartford House; 2914 Old Hartford Road; Owensboro, Kentucky 42303. Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Calhoun.
