Mary A. Bolton 95, of Island, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Riverside Care and Rehabilitation Center in Calhoun. Mary Angeline Caldwell was born July 2, 1922 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Paul Jackson and Lucy Kathryn Schindler Caldwell and was married to Paul William Bolton May 13, 1941. Mary was a homemaker, earlier worked as a cook at former Island Elementary School, cared for several children in her community and was a member of Island Church of God of Prophecy. She enjoyed caring for both her flowers and yard. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Paul Bolton who died April 3, 1983 and by two sons, Doug Bolton and Jerry Bolton.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth L. Bolton and wife, Brenda of Hobart, Indiana and Gene Bolton and wife, Karen of Calhoun; two daughters, Doris Miller of Slaughters and Paula Brown and husband, Ronnie of Island; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a sister, Imogene Greene of Hopkinsville.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with Sister Carolyn Erwin and Rev. Bobby Lott officiating. Burial will be in the Island Community Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Mary’s family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday and from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Friday at Musters in Livermore.
