Kenneth 'Bones' Allen

Kenneth “Bones” Allen  73, of Island, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Riverside Care and Rehabilitation Center in Calhoun.  Kenneth Lynn Allen was born October 15, 1944 in Island, Kentucky to the late Marion Jackson “Peggy” and Ethel Cessna Allen and was better known as “Bones” to both his family and friends.  He retired from the local Carpenter’s Labor Union and was a member of Worthington Chapel United Methodist Church.  In addition to his parents, Bones was preceded in death by a sister, Marion Elizabeth Allen.

          Survivors include a sister, Joyce Rios of Sacramento, California; his companion, Becky Nelson of Calhoun; several nieces and nephews.

          Family services will be held at a later date.  Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Bones’ family.
