Johnny Morgan

Johnny Morgan  62, of Comer, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson.  John William Morgan was born February 19, 1956 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Roy Frank and Joyce Ann Robertson Morgan.  He was a truck driver and loved antique cars, fishing, and cooking for both his family and friends.  In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Kate Elizabeth Morgan.

          Survivors include three sons, John W. Morgan, Jr., Joseph Morgan both of Dixon and Tommy Somers of Henderson; a daughter, Amy Somers of Henderson; eight grandchildren, Blake McElfresh, Andrea Morgan, Josh Morgan, Holly Morgan, Easton Morgan, Riley, Charlie, and Zaden; 7 great grandchildren; his best friend, Nita Morgan of Comer; four brothers, Roy “Junebug” Morgan, Ronnie “Tubby” Morgan both of Sturgis, Donnie “Tiny” Morgan of Dixon, and Jake Morgan of West Virginia; and three sisters, Angela Morgan of Onton, Wendy Stewart of Sturgis and Christine Yates of Slaughters.

          Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Donald Yates officiating.  Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Elba.  Friends may visit with Johnny’s family from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday and from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Musters in Calhoun.
