Without Hootie and Michelle, my family wouldn't exist. Hootie was such a kind loving man that opened his arms not only to my husband in a time of need, but to me as well when I first moved down there to Kentucky. We will forever hold a special place in our hearts for Hootie and wished we could be there. <3 Rachel, John, Bryson and Jackson Seaver

I’m saddened by the passing of my friend Jerry Majors. My heart goes out to his wife Michelle and family, his Mom, his Brothers and his extended family. He, his brothers and I along with all the other lower end neighborhood kids grew up together until our later teen years. After that some of us drifted apart and even though I didn’t hang out with Jerry anymore I’m glad we stayed friends and shared the occasional hey, how you doing or what’s up through the years. Every time I’d see him he would always have a big smile on his face and it would always make me smile back at him. He was such a good natured man. The memories of our childhood have been flooding over me all day…… sleepovers, club houses, riding bikes, hide-n-seek, tag, softball games in front of our houses, basketball games in my backyard, camping out in our backyards, setting around fires, walking to and from school and just hanging out being kids. I can’t remember the year they moved in to the house next to ours, I believe it was around the early to mid 70’s, but I remember the first time we met. It was on the bridge over the ditch between our houses. After we met on the bridge that day and started talking, well the rest, as they say, is history and full of memories. In our teen years we called him Hootie-tac but later on it got shortened to Hootie so in memory of one of my childhood best friends I want to say I will miss seeing you around town and I will never forget you Hootie-tac.

Michelle and family - We are deeply saddened for your loss of sweet Hootie! Not only was he a loyal, hard working employee for us, he was a dear, good friend to all of his A & S work family as well. We will certainly miss his smiling face, his happy go lucky attitude and his whistling tunes as he went about his daily work. We will never forget good ol' Hootie as he made his way into our hearts here at A & S Fabricating Co. during these past 11 years. Please know that we are praying for you and your entire family during this difficult time and for the days ahead. Our prayers are for God to wrap His loving arms around you all and give you the peace, strength and comfort that only He can provide! Michelle - we are close by if we can do anything at all for you and the boys! God bless each one of you!

Mischelle and family,
Our hearts are broken by the passing of one of our own! Jerry was such a sweet and thoughtful person! He always had a smile on his face and a song on his lips! Jerry and I (Mechele) often spoke of our families and grandchildren. I will miss talking to him daily and hearing his songs. May God wrap His loving arms around you during this most difficult time and lift you up and carry you through the days to come! Praying for you!
