James E. Gray, Jr.

James E. Gray, Jr.  77, of Owasso, Oklahoma went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Homestead of Owasso.  James Edward Gray, Jr. was born December 14, 1940 in Livermore, Kentucky to the late James Edward Gray, Sr. and Esther Louise Whitaker Gray and was married to the former Judith Faye O’Bryan July 2, 1960.  Jim was a member of the Baptist Community.  He was retired and loved hunting, performing as an extra in movies, and researching family genealogy.  In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a sister, Bettie Gray Sanderson and a brother, John Gray.  

          Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Judith; a son, Charles E. Gray and wife, Linda of Dothan, Alabama; a daughter, Catherine Holzer and husband, Greg of Collinsville, Oklahoma; 3 grandchildren; a great granddaughter; a sister, Connie Gray of Alexandria, Virginia and a brother, Roger Gray of Tucson, Arizona.

          Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Clive Bell officiating.  Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Livermore.  Friends may visit with Jim’s family from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Musters in Livermore.
