Hilda Dillinger 93, of Livermore, Kentucky formerly of Island went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Concordia Nursing and Rehabilitation – Maple in Greenville. Hilda Ray Gardner was born February 5, 1925 in Island, Kentucky to the late Robert C. “Bob” and Tula Epley Gardner. Hilda was a homemaker and member of Calhoun Holiness Church. She loved her children and watching her birds. In addition to her parents, Hilda was preceded in death by a grandson, Todd Colburn and by three brothers, Bobby Gardner, Bill Gardner and Thomas “Rabbit” Gardner.
Survivors include two daughters, Ann Trimble and husband, Render of Island and Diana “Candy” Foster of Bremen; two sons, Roger Daugherty and wife, Sherry of Central City and Tommie Dillinger of Island; 11 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren; and 2 great great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Roy Day officiating. Burial will be in the Island Community Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Hilda’s family from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Thursday and from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Friday at Musters in Livermore.
