Papaw,
I hate that I did not get to see you in your last days on Earth. I am happy, however, that Leighton got to visit with you. Leighton was given a John Deere hat that belonged to you and he wears it ALL the time. When you ask him who gave it to him he always says "Great Papaw gave me this hat". I am so happy he got to know who you are and I think he takes after you with his love of farm life.
I remember growing up, you would pick me up from middle school often and on the way home you always stopped at Dairy Queen for me. I will never forget those times and I'm thankful that you moved 5 minutes away because I got to spend so much time with you.
You will be deeply missed but I find peace knowing I will see you again someday! You will never be forgotten, which is why Matt and I are naming your second great grandson Maddox Glen Roman Brailsford <3

Well daddy I have no words on how I feel . All I know is that you had plenty of friends an family waiting for you when you arrived . I'm going to miss our calls on what the girls have been doing each week and just our conversations that we have. But I hope your laying on the beach there in Grenada 🇬🇩 . You looked good in the hat and shirt from there that we got ya . Blue is a good color on you. I will always miss you and a day will never go by that I won't think of you.
