I just read about the recent death of Eric and I know Contessa and the Chambers family and loved ones have saddened hearts today. So I wanted to share beautiful scripture where our heavenly Father, Jehovah God (Psalm 83:18), promises us that he is going to do away with man's greatest enemy, death. Rev. 21: 4; "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. Isaiah 33:24 guarantees us: "And no resident will say "I am sick," ever again. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises, including the resurrection. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 6:40, John 11:23-25) Also, Titus 1: 2 tells us this promise of a resurrection: "is based on a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago." Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." John 17:3 Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. It is my prayer this scripture will give you comfort in your grief. To the family of Eric: I had the opportunity to know Eric through my secretarial work at the Daviess County Attorney's office. I want you to know how very, very nice he was when he was in our office and how it was easy to sense that he was a very religious man, and committed to his job and, of course, to his family. He spoke highly about all of those things. I was shocked to hear of your loss and I will miss seeing him come in for assistance regarding his job.

To Eric's Family, I just wanted to let yall know how deeply sorry I am for your loss...
Eric was a fine officer and a good friend who was always a pleasure to be around.
I hope that yall can find comfort in knowing that even though his time here was short, he has gone Home... The Bible tells us that our life is like a vapor or a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. You could tell that he was happy with that life and he will be greatly missed.

We are so sorry to hear of Eric's passing. Eric was always fair and a very big help to us if we needed something- he will be missed by the Ohio River boaters for sure. Sending our deepest condolences to his family.

Though I didn't know Eric personally, I do know you, some of his family & friends. Breaks my heart to learn of his passing at such a young age. I got to know Eric while going through the Conservation Officer process a few years back. Although, I didnt get chosen, he had pushed hard for me to have been. I made a friend during that time and I am sorry for your loss. My prayers are with Eric's family. He was always very good too me. I laugh when I think about when I would call him to ask a hunting question. He would always call me Mr. Jarboe because he was very respectful and I would say "Eric, just me John". Hard to believe and sad to see such a great guy leave this earth so soon. Prayers!!!

Sorry for your loss but please remember this Eric is now with his Savior and we are not saying good bye but saying until we meet again one day will we be with him again. I am very thankful for the thanksgiving that I spent with the family I am here for you all don't be afraid to reach out my thoughts and prayers are for you all prayers and thoughts also for Aiden and Tessa praying for strength for us all that will get us through this rough time

Tessa, my heart is breaking for you and Aiden. Eric was truly one of a kind. You could just mention something needed to be done at the greenhouse and the next thing you knew it was already done and didn't even know when he did it. Loved that man. He was someone very special.
