Duane Crowe

Duane Crowe  74, of Livermore, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 7, 2018 at his son’s home near Livermore.  Harley Duane Crowe was born August 3, 1944 in Livermore, Kentucky to the late Harley Newton and Laney Opal Heath Crowe and was married to the former Charlotte Ann Johnson May 25, 1968.  Duane retired from the T.V.A. Paradise Plant, was a member of Livermore Missionary Baptist Church, and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.  He enjoyed attending his annual Veterans’ reunion, gardening, his horse, “Princess” and spending time with both his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

          Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Charlotte Crowe; a son, Travis Crowe and wife, Crystal of Livermore; two daughters, Lori Crowe of Henderson and Angel Badertscher and husband, Greg of Beech Grove; four grandchildren, Natasha Lee, Katelyn Badertscher, Hunter Crowe, and Ethan Crowe; three great grandchildren, Mackenzie Lee, Abbi Lee and Joe Lee; and a sister, Sharon Williams and husband, Roger of Island.

          Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Lott officiating.  Burial will be in the Island Baptist Cemetery in McLean County with Military Honors conducted by the McLean County Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post #5415.  Friends may visit with Duane’s family from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Sunday and from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Monday at Musters in Livermore.

          The Duane Crowe family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Ohio County; 121 Main Street; Hartford, Kentucky  42347.  Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Livermore.
