Carolyn Guenther

Carolyn Guenther  57, of Owensboro, Kentucky formerly of Calhoun went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  Carolyn Fay McElwain was born June 18, 1961 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Alden Wheeler and Ramona Woosley McElwain.  Carolyn was a volunteer at River Valley Partnership House in Owensboro and a member of Calhoun Baptist Church.  She enjoyed crocheting and reading.  Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother, Ramona McElwain and by her brother, Jeff McElwain.

          Survivors include a son, Joe Harris of Owensboro; a daughter, Sarah Harris of Evansville; and her father, Alden McElwain and his wife, Betty of Calhoun.

          Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Charles Thomas officiating.  Burial will be in the Glenville Baptist Cemetery in Daviess County.  Friends may visit with Carolyn’s family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday and from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Friday at Musters in Calhoun.

          The Carolyn Guenther family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Calhoun Baptist Food Pantry; P.O. Box 283; Calhoun, Kentucky  42327.  Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Calhoun.
