Carl E. LaGrange

Carl E. LaGrange 89, of Bloomington, formerly of Washington and Princeton, Indiana went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 18, 2017. He was a resident at Bell Trace Health and Living in Bloomington.  Carl Emory LaGrange was born September 26, 1928 in Princeton, Indiana to the late Clarence and Irma Meyers and was married to the former Geneva B. Shoulders.  Carl was a life-long farmer and member of Enon Baptist Church in Princeton.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters Jeanette Kendall and Geraldine Shaw, and a brother Allen LaGrange.

          Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Geneva LaGrange; a son, Ray LaGrange of Ft. Myers, Florida; 2 daughters and their husbands, Sue and Cory Black of Downers Grove, Illinois and Judy and John Butcher of Springville, Indiana; six grandchildren, Elizabeth Muster, Amanda LaGrange, Heather Blanton, Stephanie Sieving, Josh Butcher, and Kyle Black; 5 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law Rickie LaGrange Brown, and brothers-in-law Jim Kendall and Charlie Shaw.

          Private graveside services will be held at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton, Indiana with Reverend David Kelle officiating.  There will be no public visitation.  Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Carl’s family.
