My heart aches for Amber, Kevin and the Hendricks family and friends, to lose recently in death your precious loved one Brendan after just 21 way too short years, way too young, way too soon. When death robs us of someone we love very much, it causes much sadness and grief. Words are so limited that can give comfort, so I would like to share with you beautiful scripture where Jesus makes us a wonderful promise at John 5:28, which says: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..." . Our heavenly Father, Jehovah God (Psalm 83;18), promises us to do away with man's worst enemy, death at Rev. 21: 4 which reads: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." Isaiah 33:24 guarantees us: "And no resident will say "I am sick," ever again. For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. John 17:3 God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises including the resurrection. John 6:40 Also, Titus 1: 2 tells us this promise of a resurrection: "is based on a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago." Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. Psalm 34:18 Again, I offer my sincere condolences to the family. Feel free to contact me at my email address: myranj@centurytel.net May these promises give you hope, comfort and peace in your time of grief.
I pray it will bring you comfort to please watch this beautiful video (song 144) entitled "Keep Your Eyes on the Prize" https://tv.jw.org/#en/video/VODChildren/pub-pksn_24_VIDEO
or watch this faith strengthening video: "Can The Dead Really Live Again?"

I am very sorry for the loss of your dear Brendan. The pain is intense when we lose someone special. God's promises give us hope. God promises, a future with no more pain, suffering, sickness, nor death (Revelation 21:3,4). He also will reunite families with those they have lost (Acts 24:15). I pray that as a family you will lean on each other for support along with the love you receive from friends to help you through the days ahead. Take care of yourselves and each other as you begin to heal during this difficult time. The website www.jw.org is helping millions find satisfying answers to questions they have. I hope you will examine it and enjoy it. Again, I am very sorry for your loss.

I am praying that your family be comforted through this sorrowful time. The pain of death is hard. God knows our pain and provides us with comfort. (Psalms 9:9&10) He promises us that we will see our loved ones again. John 5:28 tells us that he will remember our loved ones and give them life again. Revelations 21:3&4 promise a time when there will not tears or pain and God will remove death forever. Imagine a time when your family will be together without times that bring pain or sadness. May this promise give you comfort and hope. N Jones

So very sorry to read this news in the paper. I worked with Linda at Cravens and always heard so many good memories of her grandchildren. She chose the name "Nana" when Brendan was born...I followed her name and chose the name "Nana" when I became a grandmother. What a handsome young man, so very sad for your loss.

With a heavy heart, I wanted to say that while teaching at Owensboro High School, Brendan was in at least one of my classes each year. He took many classes in the Business Department and I feel we all got to know Brendan. As a freshman, he was quiet and you could hardly get him to talk, but he was so very smart. Each year he changed, a little more outgoing, but not much, just small degrees. Then, he came to school with a new hair style, trimmed beard and he was very outgoing! He was looking us in the eye, shaking hands, participating more in class and more outgoing with his peers. I know that I was very proud of Brendan and just cannot imagine your loss of this young man. He will be missed and I'll be praying for all of you.
