Bobby W. Shutt

March 21, 1955 ~ July 16, 2018 (age 63)

 

 

Bobby W. Shutt  63, of Calhoun, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 16, 2018 at his home.  Bobby Wayne Shutt was born March 21, 1955 in Greenville, Kentucky to the late Henry Lee and Bertha Lee Hill Shutt and was married to the former Regina Lynn Settle June 2, 1984.  Bobby worked in quality control at Ahlstrom Filtration in Madisonville and was a member of Main Street Church of Christ in Calhoun.  He was a die hard Louisville Cardinals and New York Yankees Fan, enjoyed karaoke, song leading at his church, and spending time with both his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Jerry Jones; by his father-in-law, Richard L. Settle; and by a niece, Sherri Jones.

          Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Regina Shutt; a son, Lance Shutt and wife, Kodi of Centertown; two grandchildren, Easton Shutt and Aniston Shutt; a brother, Terry Lee Shutt, Sr. and wife, Ruth of Belton; a sister, Patricia Jones of Greenville; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Settle of Calhoun; his brother-in-law, Scott Settle and wife, Mary Nell of Calhoun; several nieces and nephews.

          Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with Don McBrayer and Jimmy Bunch officiating.  Burial will be in the Calhoun Cemetery in McLean County.  Friends may visit with Bobby’s family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Musters in Calhoun.

          In honor of Bobby’s grandson, Easton Reid Shutt, the Bobby W. Shutt family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to OC Steps (Ohio County Autism Network); 3098 Rochester Road; Beaver Dam, Kentucky  42320.  Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Calhoun.
