Anna Sue (Davenport) Hoover

Anna Sue Hoover 84, of Centertown Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 24, 2018.  Anna Sue Davenport was born June 11, 1934 in Livermore, Kentucky to the late Charles and Sarah Williams Davenport and married to Medley Brown Hoover on February 5, 1955.  She was a homemaker and lifelong member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.  Anna Sue loved quilting, making doll clothes, flower gardening and babysitting.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, J.C. Davenport; and a sister, Mable Jean Davenport Luck.

          Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Medley Hoover; a son, Douglas Ray Hoover and wife Melinda of Centertown; a daughter, Shelia Kirtley and husband Mark Hindman of Chattanooga, TN; two grandchildren, Bradley Kirtley and wife Allee of Calhoun, and Zach Hoover and wife Laura of Centertown; 5 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

          Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jesse Johnson officiating.  Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in McLean County.  Friends may visit with Anna Sue’s family from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel and from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the church.
