Anna Mae Boyken 95, of Calhoun, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 29, 2017. Anna Mae Austin was born September 15, 1922 in Rumsey, Kentucky to the late Henry Donald and Verlie Hancock Austin and was married to Ransom Franklin Boyken December 14, 1942. Anna Mae was a homemaker, worked at both the former Charles Chips Plant and the former McLean County General Hospital, and was a member of the Calhoun United Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, and cooking. In addition to her parents, Anna Mae was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Rannie Boyken, who died February 8, 2009 and by her son, Stuart Franklin Boyken, who died October 1, 2001.
Survivors include two daughters, Mischelle Ledet and husband, Conrad of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Vicki Bryan of Huntsville, Alabama; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Sunday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with Mr. Amon Beasley officiating. Burial will be in the Calhoun Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Anna Mae’s family from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. Saturday and from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Sunday at Musters in Calhoun.
