Ann Miller Burden

Ann Miller Burden  79, of Sacramento, Kentucky went home to Heaven on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at her home in Sacramento.  Elizabeth Ann Miller was born September 6, 1937 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Albert Leslie and Florene Hopkins Miller and was married to Earvin Burden, Jr.  Ann retired as a cook from the McLean County School System and was a member of Worthington Chapel United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed working on her crafts and caring for her flowers.  In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Earvin Burden, Jr., a sister, Darlene Sallee Boyken and a step daughter, Retha.

          Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Elizabeth and Daniel Proffitt of Sacramento and Deborah and Jason Moore of Livermore; four step sons, James, Timmy, Michael, and Wayne; a step daughter, Teresa; a grandson, Corey Ray; several step grandchildren; a brother, Elvis Miller of Livermore; and two sisters, Carolyn Proctor of Alabama and Jessie Whitmer of Sacramento.

          There will be no public services.  Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Ann’s family.

          The Ann Miller Burden family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Mahr Cancer Center; 900 Hospital Drive; Madisonville, Kentucky  42431.  Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Calhoun.
