Michael Wagoner Obituary

Michael Wagoner  33, of Sacramento, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Med Center Health in Bowling Green.  Michael David Wagoner was born February 27, 1991 in Greenville, Kentucky to Kevin Dale Wagoner and Marian Yvonnie Lindsey.  Michael's warm spirit and generous heart left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

As a hardworking individual, Michael held several jobs throughout his life, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a dedication to any task at hand.  He was most recently employed as a line cook at Wendy's in Bowling Green, where his colleagues admired him for his reliability and positive attitude.  Michael's commitment to his work was evident in the meticulous care he took in preparing meals, and in the camaraderie he shared with his co-workers.

But beyond his professional life, Michael was an avid fisherman.  Michael grew up with a sense of adventure and a love for the great outdoors.  His passion for fishing was more than just a hobby—it was a pursuit that brought him closer to nature and to the peaceful moments that can only be found at the edge of a pond, lake or river.  Michael's love for traveling was often intertwined with his quest for the perfect fishing spot.  He was always on the lookout for a bigger fish, a testament to his optimism and perpetual pursuit of excellence.

Michael's adventures took him to many places, but he was just as content to share stories of his travels as he was to embark on them.  His enthusiasm for exploration was infectious, and he inspired others to seek out the beauty and wonder in the world around them.

In every aspect of his life, Michael was known for his kindness and his genuine interest in the well-being of others.  He treated everyone with respect and was quick to lend a helping hand or share a word of encouragement.  His presence could light up a room, and his sense of humor brought joy to even the most mundane of days.

As we remember Michael, we celebrate a life well-lived, one full of passion, kindness, and the pursuit of happiness. His memory will continue to be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.  Though Michael's time with us was cut short, the legacy he leaves behind is one of love, laughter, and the gentle reminder to appreciate the simple pleasures of life.  His spirit will live on in the hearts of his family, his friends, and in the serene waters where he once cast his line, hoping to catch a glimpse of the beauty that lies beneath the surface.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Kevin Wagoner.

Michael is survived by his mother, Marian Lindsey of Sacramento; and a brother, Derek Tinkle of Sacramento.

Family services will be held at a later date.  There will be no public visitation.  Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Michael’s family.
