Ricky Quiggins 53, of Rock Island, Tennessee, formerly of Rumsey went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 15, 2018 as a result of a motorcycle accident in Dunlap, Tennessee. Richard Lynn Quiggins was born September 24, 1964 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky to Jonathan Clinton and Shirley Ann Scott Quiggins, was married to the former Shannon Michelle Gossett July 26, 1985, and was better known as “Ricky” to both his family and friends. Ricky was a master electrician at Tri-State Distribution in Sparta, Tennessee and a member of Calhoun Baptist Church. He was the Vice President of Templar Knights Motorcycle Club, enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with both his family and friends, especially his grandson. Ricky was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Quiggins and by a grandson, Karter Quiggins.
Survivors include his wife, Shannon Quiggins; a son, Kent Quiggins and wife, Marissa of Poplar Grove; a grandson, Drue Quiggins; his father, J.C. Quiggins of Calhoun; and a sister, Nancy Latham and husband, Michael of Island.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel. Burial will be in the Hudson Cemetery in Breckenridge County. Friends may visit with Ricky’s family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Musters in Calhoun.
