Richie Burden

Richie Burden  37, of Sacramento, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at his home in Sacramento.  Richard Alvey Burden was born March 6, 1981 in Madisonville, Kentucky to Richard Brown and Linda Sue McLaughlin Burden, was married to the former Tiffany Nicole Crick January 5, 2007, and was better known as Richie to his family and friends.  Richie was a member of the Baptist Faith and an avid University of Kentucky Basketball Fan.  He enjoyed basketball, go-cart racing, and spending time with his daughters.  Richie was preceded in death by his father, Richard “Sorghum” Burden and a brother, Terry Burden.

          Survivors include his wife, Tiffany Burden; two daughters, Layla Nicole Burden and Karla Lynn Burden; his mother, Linda Burden of Sacramento; two brothers, Lewis Wayne Case, Jr. of Bremen and Timmy Burden of Greenville; and four sisters, Anna Case of Sacramento, Sadie Majors of Livermore, Heather Case of Rockport, Indiana, and Diana Thomasson of Greenville.

          Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Nathan Baize officiating.  Burial will be in the Station Baptist Cemetery in McLean County.  Friends may visit with Richie’s family from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Musters in Calhoun.
