Patricia Lou Peacock 76, of Elba, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at her home in Elba. Patricia Lou Dant was born January 29, 1942 in Daviess County, Kentucky to the late Joseph Ernest and Mary Ruby Sutton Dant and was better known as “Patty” to both her family and friends. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Patty had a sparkle in her eye and an infectious sense of humor that made her a joy to be around. She loved spending time with family and friends, playing cards, crocheting, talking, and watching scary movies. She was a loving mother, grandmother and faithful friend. The Spirit of God was very much alive in her heart. In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Bridgette Payne; three brothers, J.W. Dant, Marvin Dant and Carroll Dant; and by two sisters, Mary Myrtle Thompson and Mary Ella Farmer.
Survivors include her son and his wife, Billy Joseph and Theresa Payne of Sorgho; four grandchildren, Briget Price of Louisville, Tabatha Payne, Jenna Payne, and Ryan Payne all of Sorgho; and a brother, L.V. Dant of Beech Grove.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday at St. Alphonsus Cemetery in St. Joseph. There will be no public visitation. Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Patty’s family.
