Norman L. Whitaker

     Norman L. Whitaker  66, of Lewisport, formerly of Island, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 16, 2019 at Owensboro Center.  Norman Louis Whitaker was born January 8, 1953 in Greenville, Kentucky to the late Louis and Dora Bernice Kyle Whitaker.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Army National Guard and also enjoyed working on cars, drawing, gardening and traveling.

     Survivors include a daughter, Stacy Onstott of Owensboro; his companion, Mary South of Grandview, Indiana; a brother, Terry Whitaker of Sacramento; four sisters, Brenda Short, Sharon Thompson both of Island, Helen Hagadone and Kay Clark both of Slidell, Louisiana; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

     Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at New Hope Cemetery in Muhlenberg County with Dr. Richard Sams officiating.  Friends may visit with Norman’s family from 9:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel.
