Mike Conrad

Mike Conrad  68, of Rumsey, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at his home in Rumsey.  Michael Dean Conrad was born March 7, 1950 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Clifton and Lela Mae Pedley Conrad and was married to the former Anita Kay Fentress June 16, 1989.  Mike was the owner and operator of Mike Conrad Logging and attended Knobbs Church of God of Prophecy.  He enjoyed sprint car racing, tractor pulls, drag racing, dirt track races, and working in his garage.

          Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Anita Conrad; two sons, David Conrad (Rhonda) of Poplar Grove and Brad Merritt (Shantel) of Opelousas, Louisiana; a daughter, Lori Beals (Steven) of Sacramento; seven grandchildren, Whitney Eubanks, Taylor Conrad, Hunter Beals, Tyler Beals, Jaycee Merritt, Victoria Merritt, and Audriana Merritt; a great grandson, Hunter Eubanks; and three sisters, Barbara Drake of Island, Linda Brewer of Moorman and Brenda Baize of Bremen.

          Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Sunday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Nathan Baize officiating.  Burial will be in the Station Baptist Cemetery in McLean County.  Friends may visit with Mike’s family from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Saturday and from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Sunday at Musters in Calhoun.
