Jim White 62, of Calhoun, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. James Lee White was born June 10, 1956 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late William Thurman “W.T.” and Mattye Martine Coppage White and was married to the former Karen Marie Coomes June 2, 2000. Jim was a partner with Helton – White Insurance Agency in Calhoun and a member of the Calhoun Baptist Church, where he was a member of the Calhoun Baptist Praise Team. He was an avid bass fisherman, won the Angler of the Year award for two years in a row, trained Tennessee Walking Horses, and was an amateur musician, who enjoyed singing and song writing.
Survivors include his wife, Karen White; a son, Brad White (Ellie) of California; a daughter, Kelly Puckett (Kyle) of Livermore; a step son, Michael Bickett of Owensboro; two grandchildren, Madelyn Puckett and Brody Puckett; and two brothers, Bill White (Marty) of Bowling Green and Steve White (Joan) of Owensboro.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Calhoun Baptist Church with Dr. Richard Sams and the Rev. Julian Goodpaster officiating. Burial will be in the Calhoun Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Jim’s family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday and from 8:30 A.M. until 9:45 A.M. Saturday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel.
