Janie “Booty” Davis 91, of Livermore, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Riverside Care and Rehabilitation Center in Calhoun. Janie Avenelle Adkins was born August 30, 1927 in Boring, Oregon to the late Alan M. and Orpha Bevins Adkins, was married to Theodore Roosevelt “Buddy” Davis October 27, 1945 and was better known as “Booty” to both her family and friends. Booty was a homemaker, earlier retired as a cook from Livermore School and was a member of Livermore United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, traveling, collecting rocks, and spending time with both her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Booty was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Buddy Davis who died August 4, 2009 and by a great grandson, Colby Burrows.
Survivors include a daughter, Janie McCaslin (Darrell) of Calhoun; a son, Carl Eugene Davis (Diane) of Kalispell, Montana; 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a great great granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Clive Bell officiating. Burial will be in the Green River Memorial Gardens in Livermore. Friends may visit with Booty’s family from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Tuesday and from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Musters in Livermore.
