Deannie Jewell

     Deannie Jewell  76, of Beech Grove, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 7, 2019 at his home near Beech Grove.  Charles Dean Jewell was born March 28, 1943 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Delbert and Louemma Wilson Jewell, was married to the former Doris Jean McKinney November 23, 1964 and was better known as “Deannie” to both his family and friends.  Deannie was a retired farmer and enjoyed collecting both model cars and antique tractors.

     Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Doris Jewell; a daughter, Brenda Kessinger (Jeff) of Livermore; two grandchildren, Amanda Troutt (Corey) of Rockport, Indiana and Bradly Kessinger (Sarah) of Sacramento; 4 great grandchildren; a brother, Frank Jewell of Beech Grove; and a sister, Sharon Payne of Beech Grove.

     Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with Dr. Richard Sams officiating.  Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in McLean County.  Friends may visit with Deannie’s family from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Musters in Calhoun.

     The Deannie Jewell family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Pleasant Hill Cemetery Fund; C/O Jerry Rager; 10685 Possum Trot Road; Owensboro, Kentucky  42301.  Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Calhoun.
