Cathy L. Swift

Cathy L. Swift  59, of Island, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at her home in Island.  Cathy Lynn Swift was born May 4, 1959 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Jimmy Dean and Veda Jeanette Baldwin Swift.  She was a quality supervisor for Hunter Douglas in Owensboro.  Cathy enjoyed cooking and spending time with both her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

          Survivors include two daughters, Jillian Lynn Burden (Phillip) of Island and Devin Rachelle Wood (Dalton) of Livermore; two grandchildren, Courtlynn Burden and Trayson Burden; her mother, Veda Swift of Island; her father, Jimmy Swift of Shepherdsville, Kentucky; a brother, Dennie Swift of Island; two sisters, Vickie Swift of Island and Tammie Swift of Shepherdsville; several nieces and nephews.

          Funeral services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Thursday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Barney Priar officiating.  Friends may visit with Cathy’s family from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Thursday at Musters in Livermore.  Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at Island Community Cemetery in McLean County.
