Brenda Whitaker Bell

Brenda Whitaker Bell  77, of Owensboro, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  Brenda Lou Whitaker was born December 21, 1940 in Livermore, Kentucky to the late Theodore and Louise Withrow Whitaker and was married to Phillip Larry Bell June 25, 1966.  She was a member of Hall Street Baptist Church in Owensboro.  In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Bell and by her daughter, Lisa Layton. 

          Survivors include two nephews, Dale Howard (Ann) of Calhoun and Ben Whitaker (Nancy) of Louisville; two nieces, Barbie Goodall (Jim) of Utica and Jaime Whitaker of Louisville; several great nieces and great nephews.

          Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with Dr. Richard Sams officiating.  Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Livermore.  Friends may visit with Brenda’s family from 11:30 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Musters in Livermore.

          The Brenda Whitaker Bell family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Western Kentucky; 3419 Wathens Crossing; Owensboro, Kentucky  42301.  Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Livermore.
