Ann Marie Hayden Helm 81, of Pleasant View, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. Ann Marie Hayden was born October 21, 1936 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late John Truman “Jack” and Annie Smith Hayden, graduated from Calhoun High School in 1955, and was married to Sherrell Helm May 18, 1956. She worked for a time as a dental assistant but most of her married life she was a homemaker. Ann was a member of First Baptist Church in Joelton, Tennessee. She was a Sunday School teacher for children and also active in adult classes while living in Pensacola, Florida. Ann enjoyed spending time with both her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed working in the yard, birdwatching, cooking for family, having family meals, and was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan. In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by four brothers, J.T. Hayden, Carl Hayden, Hugh Hayden, and Clint Hayden; and by two sisters, Lena Hayden Tanner and Marilyn June Hayden Browning.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Sherrell Helm; her three children, David Brian Helm (Adena) of Benton, Louisiana, Susan Marie Helm Gleaves (Daniel) of Pleasant View and John Hayden Helm (Chelsea) of Walnut Hill, Florida; thirteen grandchildren, Katherine Anne Helm Andrews (Zach), Caroline Elizabeth Helm, Ashley Marie Gleaves Anderson (Paul), Evan Daniel Gleaves, Brian Christopher Gleaves, Heather Nicole Gleaves, Jason Thomas Gleaves, Landon Carter Gleaves, Davin Marshall Gleaves, Hayden William Helm, Clayton Carter Helm, and Cailynn Anne Helm; 4 great grandchildren; a brother, Ray Hayden of Calhoun; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with her nephew, Keavin Hayden officiating. Burial will be in the Calhoun Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Ann’s family from 11:30 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Friday at Musters in Calhoun.
