Wilma E. Smallwood

Wilma E. Smallwood  51, of 480 Deanefield Drive; Reynolds Station, Kentucky died Sunday, May 10, 2015 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington.  Wilma Eileen Fulkerson was born November 1, 1963 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Thomas Estil and Laura Elaine Carter Fulkerson and was married to Walter Lee Smallwood on October 4, 1982.  She was an LPN with Owensboro Health Regional Hospital, a member of the Catholic Faith, and enjoyed fishing.  She was preceded in death by a son, Lee Smallwood, who died November 8, 2007 and by her mother, Laura Elaine Fulkerson.

          Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Walt Smallwood; a son, Jeffrey Smallwood of Reynolds Station; a daughter, Catherine Smallwood of Reynolds Station; 4 grandchildren; her father, Thomas Estil Fulkerson of Hartford; four brothers, James Fulkerson, Tom Fulkerson, William “Dubby” Fulkerson, and Marvin Fulkerson all of Hartford; and a sister, Patricia Smallwood of Centertown.

          Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. John Ighacho officiating.  Burial will be in the Calhoun Cemetery in McLean County.  Friends may visit with Wilma’s family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Musters in Calhoun.

          The Wilma E. Smallwood family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Calhoun Cemetery, Beautification Fund; C/O Winfred Williams; P.O. Box 201; Calhoun, Kentucky  42327.  Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Calhoun.
