Shallow Jean “Honeysuckle” Davis Harris, 57, of Livermore, Kentucky, died March 15, 2016 in Fennville, Michigan. Shallow was born May 10, 1958 in Owensboro, KY to Allen Jr. and Emma McRoy Davis. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend who loved having Bible studies, tracing genealogy, and shopping at consignment shops. She was all about her family. Shallow was preceded in death by her father, Allen Junior Davis and a nephew, Jeffrey Allen Davis, III.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Wayne Harris; a daughter, Tiffany (Dennis) VanDusen of Holland, MI, two brothers; Jeff (Lillie) Davis of Island; and Charlie (Christine) Cox of NJ; three sisters: Karen (Jason) Griffin of AL; Debbie Hudson of Livermore, and Sharon (Tony) Boyken of Livermore; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 20th at 6:00P.M. at the Island Church of God of Prophecy with Pastor Johnny Hood officiating. Burial will be in the Green River Memorial Gardens in Livermore on Saturday at Noon.
Shallow’s family asks that memorial contributions take the form of donations to the Shallow Harris Memorial Fund. Envelopes will be available at the church.
