Scottie Dale Johnson

Scottie Dale Johnson  48, of Moorman, Kentucky died Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  Scottie Dale Johnson was born July 31, 1967 in Calhoun, Kentucky to Shelton Lee and Patsy Delores Bishop Johnson.  Scottie was a 1985 Graduate of McLean County High School, a truck driver for Perdue Farms, and a member of Buttonsberry Baptist Church.  He was a member of Island Lodge # 743 F. & A.M., and also enjoyed riding four wheelers, rabbit and deer hunting, cooking, and being with both his family and friends.  Scottie was preceded in death by his father, Shelton Johnson.

          Survivors include a son, Trenton Johnson of Moorman; a daughter, Kayla Chambers of Moorman; his mother, Patsy Johnson of Island; a brother, Joey Johnson (Vicky) of Rumsey; and two sisters, June Brawner (Michael) of Calhoun and Carlyon Price (Rodney Payne) of Whitesville.

          Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Revs. Troy Slinker and Barney Priar officiating.  Burial will be in the New Hope Baptist Cemetery in Muhlenberg County.  Friends may visit with Scottie’s family from 2:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Sunday and from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Monday at Musters in Livermore.  Masonic services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Sunday at Musters in Livermore.

          The Scottie Dale Johnson family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Johnson Educational Fund for his children; C/O Muster Funeral Homes; P.O.
