Ronnie Cissna

Ronnie Cissna  77, of Sacramento, Kentucky died Monday, August 24, 2015 at his home.  Ronald Ray Cissna was born May 8, 1938 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Emsil and Thelma Baggett Cissna and was married to the former Shirley Ann Callas on February 16, 1973.  Ronnie worked for Green Coal Company and Bickett Farms, was a member of Buck Creek Baptist Church, and a U.S. Marine Veteran.  He enjoyed farming, gardening, and attending church.

          Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Shirley Cissna; a son, Scott Cissna of Sacramento; an adopted daughter, Stacy; a sister and her husband, Cheryl and Roy Villines of Madisonville; several nieces and nephews. 

          Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Buck Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Webb officiating.  Burial will be in the Poplar Grove Cemetery in McLean County with Military Honors conducted by the McLean County Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post #5415.  Friends may visit with Ronnie’s family from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Buck Creek Baptist Church.  Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Ronnie’s family.

          The Ronnie Cissna family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Ronnie Cissna, Memorial Fund; C/O Muster Funeral Homes; P.O. Box 160; Calhoun, Kentucky  42327.  Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Buck Creek Baptist Church and at Musters in Calhoun.
