Raymond 'Big Huck' Huckleberry

Raymond “Big Huck” Huckleberry  78, of Island, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center in Calhoun.  Raymond Lee Huckleberry was born July 11, 1938 in Utica, Kentucky to the late Oscar Lee and Susie Lucinda King Huckleberry, was married to the former Linda Renea Howard April 30, 1965, and was better known as “Big Huck” to both his family and friends.  Raymond retired from the T.V.A. – Paradise Plant, was a member of Church Street General Baptist Church in Bremen, and a U.S. Navy Veteran.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.    

          Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Linda Huckleberry; two sons, Brian “Sambo” Huckleberry and wife, Kim of Philpot and Chris Huckleberry of Island; three daughters and their husbands, Rhonda and Glen Burden, Shannon and Steve Burden both of Island, and Christa and Jimmy Howell of Livermore; 13 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

          Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Revs. Danny Greene, Nick Raines, and Robert Pierce officiating.  Burial will be in the Island Community Cemetery in McLean County with Military Honors conducted by the McLean County Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post 5415.  Friends may visit with Raymond’s family from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Musters in Livermore.
