Nancy Lillian Tharp

Nancy Lillian Tharp  73, of Calhoun, Kentucky died Friday, January 29, 2016 in Owensboro.  Nancy Lillian Timmons was born December 1, 1942 in Hopkins County, Kentucky to the late Victor H. and Helen Louise Mitchell Timmons.  She was a secretary for the State Highway Department in Calhoun, a member of Calhoun United Methodist Church, where she volunteered to help with area children, and enjoyed collecting her antique treasures.  In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Lee Timmons.

          Survivors include a son, Brian Bolton and wife, Samantha of Owensboro; a daughter, Jeannie Penrod and husband, Bobby of Calvert City; three grandchildren, Lindsey Penrod, Sydney Bolton, and Chloe Bolton; and three sisters, Sherrill Simmons of Slaughters, Paulette Cullen of Hanson, and Vicky Mineer of Owensboro.

          Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday at Calhoun United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ken Berggren officiating.  Friends may visit with Nancy’s family from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. Sunday at the church.  Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Nancy’s family.
