Lillian Lee Johnson

Lillian Lee Johnson  84, of Owensboro, Kentucky died Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  Lillian Lee Penrod was born February 23, 1932 in Livia, Kentucky to the late Claude and Geneva Warner Penrod and was married to Jack Johnson.  Lillian was a homemaker and member of the Baptist Faith.  She enjoyed caring for her flowers, watching both “Gunsmoke” and “Everyone Loves Raymond”, and spending time with both her family and friends.  In addition to her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Johnson; two sons, Jackie Ray Johnson and Jimmie Lynn Johnson; a grandson, Donnie Ray Johnson; a granddaughter, Tina Marie Johnson; a brother, Donald Penrod; and a sister, Wilma Adcock.

          Survivors include six sons, Gary Johnson of Livermore, Donnie Johnson of Island, David Johnson, Randall Johnson, Timmie Johnson, and Terry Johnson all of Owensboro; 13 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; a brother, Jerry Penrod of Falls of the Rough; and two sisters, Judy Penrod of Calhoun and Mildred Johnson of Reynolds Station.

          Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Bill Willis officiating.  Burial will be in the Island Community Cemetery in McLean County.  Friends may visit with Lillian’s family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Musters in Livermore.
