Lester “Buck” Willis  90, of 210 East Atherton Street; Livermore, Kentucky died Sunday, March 22, 2015 at his home in Livermore.  Lester D. Willis was born January 28, 1925 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late H. Crit and Georgie Clark Willis, was married to the former Helen Beller on July 10, 1948, and was better known as “Buck” to both his family and friends.  Buck retired from the U.S. National Guard as a civil service technician, served as deputy clerk for the McLean County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office for 18 years, was a member of Livermore United Methodist Church, and was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II.  He was a member of the McLean County Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post 5415, where he served on the Honor Guard, was an avid golfer, loved attending Church and Sunday School, and enjoyed visiting with both his friends and family, especially his grandchildren.

          Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Helen Willis; a son, Eugene Willis and wife, Kim of Owensboro; three daughters, Linda McClure Clark and husband, Ronnie of Livermore, Mary Ann Robertson and husband, Terry of The Villages, Florida, and Teresa Woodburn and husband, Bennie of Sacramento; 8 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

          Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Revs. Jim White and Jesse Johnson officiating.  Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Livermore with Military Honors conducted by the McLean County Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post #5415.  Friends may visit with Buck’s family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Musters in Livermore.

          The Lester “Buck” Willis family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Livermore United Methodist Church, Building Fund; P.O. Box 67; Livermore, Kentucky  42352.  Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Livermore.
