Preacher and Mrs. Moody have been part of my life since I was 15 years old.
After I was saved, preacher did my baptism, he and Mrs. Moody taught all those teenagers how to love the Lord, how to pray, how to study the Word, how to serve Jesus. Then preacher married me and Bob in 1991. (25 years and Bob always told preacher he 'tied a good knot'. ) I thank God to this day that he blessed me with Reverend and Mrs. Moody as my mentors, examples, and friends. Thank you Jesus for having the perfect place for your servant - Preacher Moody.

w are truly sorry about the passing of les on the way to higher ground this being
with his savior and lord in heven. we are already aware of the angels and family and
beloved brothers and sisters in the lord who went home early now celebrating the
arrival of les to heaven. our prayers will be with you during this time of loss here on

Dear Mrs. Moody and family,
Bro. Moody has been our friend for many years. He taught school at Sacramento High School and was my teacher. He also married my sister, Martha, so we have many fond memories of during our lifetime. We are so sorry for your loss, but we know that being in the presence of Jesus is far better than being on this earth. He lived a long and fruitful life of teaching, preaching and being a fine example of spreading the gospel to others! We will never forget his touch on our lives! You are in our thoughts and prayers!

Daddy,
I know that no matter what
You will always be with me.
When life separates us
I’ll know it is only your soul
Saying goodbye to your body
But your spirit will be with me always.
When I see a bird chirping on a nearby branch
I will know it is you singing to me.
When a butterfly brushes gently by me so care freely
I will know it is you assuring me you are free from pain.
When the gentle fragrance of a flower catches my attention
I will know it is you reminding me
To appreciate the simple things in life.
When the sun shining through my window awakens me
I will feel the warmth of your love.
When I hear the rain pitter patter against my window sill
I will hear your words of wisdom
And will remember what you taught me so well
That without rain trees cannot grow
Without rain flowers cannot bloom
Without life’s challenges I cannot grow strong.
When I look out to the sea

We are so privileged that Bro. Moody was our pastor for 5 years in New Lebanon, Ohio, in the 1970.s. He was a marvelous pastor, teacher, example and mentor. We are thankful for his life and ministry.
