Larry S. Hayden

Larry S. Hayden  67, of Calhoun, Kentucky died Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  Larry Smith Hayden was born September 20, 1948 in McLean County, Kentucky to Carl Lee and Margaret Elizabeth Smith Hayden and was married to the former Deborah Kay Redford on May 28, 1971.  Larry was a farmer and member of Glenville Baptist Church.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam and loved spending time on his farm.  Larry was preceded in death by his father, Carl L. Hayden and by a granddaughter, Jordan Grace Hayden.

          Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Debbie Hayden; two sons and their wives, Brian and Kendel Hayden of Calhoun and Neil and Kristi Hayden of Owensboro; a daughter, Holly Hayden of Owensboro; two grandchildren, Riley Hayden and Jax Hayden; his mother, Margaret Hayden of Calhoun; a brother and his wife, Donnie and Nancy Hayden of Bowling Green; a sister and her husband, Jan and Mike Rundle of Paducah.

          Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Charles Thomas officiating.  Burial will be in the Calhoun Cemetery in McLean County.  Friends may visit with Larry’s family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday and from 9:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Musters in Calhoun.

          The Larry S. Hayden family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Calhoun Cemetery, Beautification Fund; C/O John Howard; 400 Guy Settle Loop; Calhoun, Kentucky  42327.  Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Calhoun.
