Kathy & I attended 1st/2nd grade together at Snyder Elementary and cheered together in high school @ DCHS...she taught me how to whistle through my fingers and I think of her every time I do it...my condolences to the family in your loss of Kathy.

I am truly sorry for the loss and pain that Rickey, Brad and the Hudsib family and friends are feeling because of losing Kathy recently in death. Most of us have had to endure the sorrow of losing a loved one in death. What helped me the most was prayer and faith in God's promises like found here at 1 Corinthians 15: 26 and it tells us: "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises, including the resurrection. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 6:40, John 11:23-25) Also, Titus 1: 2 tells us this promise of a resurrection: "is based on a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago." Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." The Bible also enlightens us at Hebrews 2:14 "so that through his (Jesus) death, he (Jesus) might bring to nothing the one having the means to cause death, that is the Devil." Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. Again, the family is in my prayers and I offer my heartfelt condolences.
