Johnny Ford

Johnny Ford  46, of Greenville, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at his home in Greenville.  John Lee Ford was born December 1, 1970 in Calhoun, Kentucky to Roy Acuff and Carolyn Jean Cotton Ford.  Johnny worked at House of Onyx in Greenville for 22 years and was a member of the Baptist Faith.  He enjoyed music, walking and talking to anyone he met.  Johnny was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jimmy Cotton, John and Martha Ford; and by two uncles, Roger Cotton and Mitchell Cotton.

          Survivors include his mother and step father, Carolyn and Jim Shaw of Calhoun; his father and step mother, Roy and Patricia Ford of Greenville; a sister and her husband, Heather and John Hardin of Calhoun; a step brother, Mike Sullivan of Morgantown; a step sister and her husband, Crystal and Travis Harper of Belton; his grandmother, Margaret Cotton of Calhoun; a niece, Abby Hardin; a nephew, J.D. Hardin; aunts and uncles, Debbie and Art Wilkerson, Bobby Johnson, Marvin and Genia Cotton, Kim and Jon Keplinger, Mary Elizabeth Phillips, Sidney and Linda Ford, and Henry and Connie Ford; and his furbaby brothers, Prince and Harley.

          Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Monday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with Dr. Richard Sams officiating.  Friends may visit with Johnny’s family from 12:00 P.M. (noon) until 4:00 P.M. Monday at Musters in Calhoun.

          In lieu of flowers, the Johnny Ford family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to McLean County Animal Shelter; 1508 Kentucky 136 East; Calhoun, Kentucky  42327.  Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Calhoun.
