James R. Keown 80, of Elba, Kentucky, died Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. James Randolph Keown was born October 26, 1934 in Daviess County, Kentucky to the late David and Addie Mae Bates Keown. He was a maintenance worker. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his son, James R. Keown, Jr. and by a sister, Lucy Lovell.
Survivors include a daughter, Judy O’Neal of Madisonville; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a brother, Archie Keown of Hatfield, Indiana; and a sister, Louise Coomes of Richland, Indiana.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Elba with Dr. Richard Sams officiating. Friends may visit with James’ family from 11:30 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. Saturday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel.
