Jackie M. Stovall

Jackie M. Stovall  66, of Calhoun, Kentucky died Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  Jackie Marthel Powell was born February 10, 1950 in Henderson, Kentucky to the late General Marshall and Dorothy Mae Shelton Powell and was married to Charles Stovall on May 20, 1988.  Jackie was a homemaker and member of the Pentecostal Faith.  She was an avid wrestling fan, and also enjoyed sewing and spending time with both her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Stovall, who died January 18, 2016.

          Survivors include two sons, James Powell and wife, Kim and Kevin Powell both of Rumsey; 5 grandchildren; two brothers, Calvin Powell of Henderson and James “Buddy” Powell of Georgetown; and two sisters, Connie Cates of Henderson and Karla Warren of Lynchburg, Tennessee.

          Graveside services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday at Old Shavers Cemetery in Muhlenberg County with the Rev. Frank Nalley officiating.  Friends may visit with Jackie’s family from 1:30 P.M. until 3:30 P.M. Wednesday at Musters in Calhoun.
