Inez Rickard

Inez Rickard  85, of Island, Kentucky formerly of Sacramento went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at her home in Island.  Mona Inez Rhodes was born October 7, 1932 in Muhlenberg County to the late Cecil and Bennie Lee Rhodes and was married to Aubrey Allen Rickard August 10, 1951.  Inez was a homemaker and member of Bethel Outreach Ministries in Livermore.  She enjoyed her faithful companion, Kitty and loved spending time with both her family and friends, especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, Inez was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Aubrey A. Rickard, who died October 13, 2005, by a son, David Rickard, by a grandson, Steven W. Rickard, and by a granddaughter, Dana Rickard.

          Survivors include five sons and their wives, Steve and Barbara Rickard of Sacramento, Mike and Pam Rickard of Livermore, Dean and Barbie Lynn Rickard of Island, John and Lisa Rickard, and Mark and Sandy Rickard both of Livermore; four daughters and their husbands, Sharon and Red Dukes, Nancy and Bobby Johnson, Gina and Jackie Howard all of Island, and Angela and Charlie Melton of Corydon, Indiana; 21 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 18 great great grandchildren; and a brother, Carl Rhodes of Moorman.

          Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Dame officiating.  Burial will be in the Gish Cemetery in Muhlenberg County.  Friends may visit with Inez’s family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday and from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Musters in Livermore.
