Hugh Hunt 77, of Mayfield, Kentucky died Sunday, January 15, 2017 at his home in Graves County. Hugh was born May 22, 1939 in McLean County to the late Porter and Mansie Gibson Hunt. He married Ann Franklin Hunt on June 14, 1968 and was an Army Veteran serving at Dunham Army Hospital. Hugh was baptized at Mt. Liberty Baptist Church, a member of First Baptist Church in Mayfield and surgical technician at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Ann Hunt; two sons and their wives, Stan and Lesley Hunt of Paducah, and Greg and Teresa Hunt of Mayfield; five grandchildren: Cody Tynes, Audrey Hunt, Benjamin Hunt, Nathan Dowdy, and Aaron Dowdy; great grandchildren: Asa, Nehemiah, Rylan, and Caison; a sister Ruth Revlett and her husband Gene of Calhoun.
A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at Calhoun Cemetery in McLean County.
