Gracie Hatfield Bowman 94, of Barrett Hill Road, died Wednesday, April 8,2015 at Riverside Manor Health Care Center in Calhoun. Gracie Eveline Hatfield was born September 11, 1920 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Joe and Helen York Hatfield. She was married James Calvin Bowman who died in 1954. Gracie retired as a life-long employee of Charles Chips and was a member of Buck Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going for walks on the farm, and going to tractor pulls. Gracie was also preceded in death by a son, Calvin “Butch” Bowman in 1972.
Survivors include two sons and their wives, Terry Joe and Betty Bowman, and Tony and Lois Bowman of Livermore; a daughter, Trish Blades and her husband, Tom of Island; seven grandchildren, Tim Bowman, Tammy Sutherlin, Jeff Bowman, Jeremy Bowman, Shannon Render, Sean Blades, and Chad Atherton; and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Webb officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Livermore. Friends may visit with Gracie’s family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Saturday and from 9:00 A.M. until time of services Sunday at Musters in Livermore.
